Insect repellent hat

Product description:
This hat drives biting insects away with a bonded-in insect repellent. The odorless EPA-registered repellent permethrin is bonded to water-repellent 10-oz. cotton duck, providing safe protection from mosquitoes, ticks, no-see-ums, and black flies without the greasiness, odor, and time-consuming application of sprays or lotions.
Ah ha~ I have opinions about this product, since I have some knowledge about things they described.
It is true that permethrin can be used as a repellent and is EPA-registered.
However, the effectiveness of its repellence only last several washes.
Also permethrin is classified by the US EPA a likely human carcinogen.
Maybe it is a good title that attract people's attention, but the product itself is totally a lie.
The tricky part is, they are telling you the "fact", but not the truth in reality.
